Older Textured Ceiling Paint

Another indicator of asbestos presence is if you find any textured ceiling paint present in the home. Corrugated Roofing

Still another potential indicator of asbestos presence is the presence of corrugated roofing materials. This type of material was popular for use in home construction prior to 1980, and if it’s present, it may be a sign that an inspection is needed.

Older Cement Water Tank

If you’ve noticed the presence of an older cement water tank in your home, it may indicate a higher likelihood for the presence of asbestos. This type of tank is generally constructed from cement and other materials that can contain asbestos fibers, so it’s important to have them tested if you find one in or around your home or potential property purchase.
